Site Sourcing

Holmes Hosking has a specialised site sourcing department whose primary focus is to identify virgin development opportunities, using a combination of specialist software and local market knowledge. We have developed a database of over 3000 sites across South London and Kent which continues to grow along with providing a constant stream of new opportunities for assessment.

Subject to Planning/ Option agreements

Our site sourcing gives us the opportunity to meet with land owners on a regular basis, and we frequently identify an opportunity for a development transaction. This generates a premium for the seller and prime opportunity for a developer, by agreeing a conditional sale.  Whilst transactions of this nature have become more difficult to secure over recent years, Holmes Hosking have a good track record of assembling conditional deals.

Planning

Having managed planning applications in Croydon, Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham over recent years we are in tune with the intricacies and expectations of various local authorities planning department. This aids us with assisting our clients with planning applications and introducing consultants with a proven track record in obtaining consents.

Selling Consented Development Sites

Since the business was established HH have concluded the sale or acquisition of a development site every 3 weeks on average. Whether selling on a consented site, which we helped acquire from our own site sourcing or selling or acquiring for our existing clients. We have developed a database of over 5,000 contacts which has enabled us to maximise value when selling and unearth some competitively prices opportunities when acquiring.

Holmes Hosking New Homes

With a pipeline of 46 new homes coming to market in 2023 the HH New Homes team is busy at work to place buyers and developments together. We use a combination of traditional marketing techniques such as printing high quality hard copies, detailed brochures, leafleting local areas, advertising in local papers and web portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla with more modern methods such a sponsored ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. This recipe has proven successful in helping us to exceed clients expectations on both values achieved and rate of sale.
